The Women Initiative Foundation is pleased to invite you to a special talk dedicated to “the benefits of Mentoring”, Tuesday, February 12th, in New York.

Mentoring is the tool number one of WIF. It provides women entrepreneurs and female leaders in large companies with a privileged relationship with a mentor. This mentor, an experienced woman or man leverages her/his skills and strategic vision to help the mentee with her growth and career. During this talk, you will hear testimonies from our mentors and mentees and will uncover the benefits of mentoring as they have experienced it.

Our mentors are women and men who have succeeded in their businesses and careers and are experts in their fields. Each mentoring relationship is tailored to the mentee’s unique needs and objectives.
Our mentees benefit from the free guidance of a mentor during a year and are also supported in this experience by the Women Initiative Foundation.

This event will also be the opportunity to introduce our new inter-company mentoring program, that will be launched in 2019 in the US, to support women through their journey to higher leadership positions.

We wish you all, women entrepreneurs, corporate leaders, mentors and mentees, partners and supporters, a happy new year 2019.

Pioneering woman entrepreneur, Laetitia Gazel-Anthoine, has already paved the way for this program in 2016.

Ms. Gazel-Anthoine is the Founder and CEO of Connecthings, a technology firm with a unique approach to the Internet of Public Things maximizing the engagement of cities with their citizens using the existing mobile applications. Having founded Connecthings in 2007, Ms. Gazel Anthoine was a mentee in the French WBMI program in 2011 where she advanced in 4 ways.

By 2016, the firm was already operating in more than 30 Smart Cities across Europe and Brazil, when Ms. Gazel Anthoine knew she needed to locate in the US for at least one year to launch in the US market. She did so, in early 2016 with vital support from an terrific US-based mentor, Roy Camblin, who was specially identified and matched for Ms. Gazel-Anthoine and Connecthings by WIF/WBMI.
