Timothy Lloyd Pope considers personal style an opportunity for empowerment and delight for all people. In 1994, he founded Timothy Lloyd Pope Consulting (New York City), a unique advisory that curates wardrobe, jewelry and accessory collections to best enhance his clients’ lives. To shelter these investments, he can also devise visually logical, accessible and secure storage solutions. In addition, he is one of the few
professionals able to introduce clients into the rarified worlds of the New York and Parisian haute couture.
After academic training in dance, theater and fashion, Pope realized his calling at eighteen, creating window displays for the finest boutique in his hometown of Chico, California. His early mentors included: Harry Fireside, the legendary San Francisco jeweler; Geraldine Naditz, American couture buyer for Saks Fifth Avenue; Bernard Perris, the Parisian nouvelle couturier; and Kitty D’Alessio, president of Chanel.
Repeatedly hired over seniority, Pope has been the director of sales at the foremost fashion houses of our time: Chanel (Beverly Hills), J. Mendel (New York) and Carolyn Roehm/Saks Fifth Avenue (New York). Prior to opening his own business, he was the national director of sales and stores for Geoffrey Beene (New York). Throughout his career, he has distinguished himself by working directly with international fashion and jewelry designers to provide his clients with superlative customized service.
