Clare Posnack is co-founder of the consulting partnership, Global Beginnings, which translates the U.S. fashion market for international brands. Since its inception in 2011, Global Beginnings has introduced the U.S. childrenswear market to clients from Paris to Bogota to Sydney. Clients are as diverse as the Paris based childrenswear trade show, Playtime, to European and South American trade commissions. Specifically, Ms. Posnack’s presentations have been well received worldwide including forums at the University of Lima, Peru and the Junio trade show in Bursa, Turkey.
Ms. Posnack was a Vice President of Marketing and Sales for over 17 years, and managed sales forces and directed distribution for several premium companies such as My Boy Sam, Canoli kids and Hartstrings. She has also advised multiple start-ups such as Petit Trousseau, two little Stix, kalulu kids and Golf For Kids.
Ms. Posnack holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from New York University, School of Commerce, and an Associate’s degree in Applied Science in Fashion Buying and Merchandising from Fashion Institute of Technology, New York. She is TESOL, TESL and TEFL certified, and most recently taught English at the Academia Solidaria in Valencia, Spain.
Ms. Posnack, a lifelong Francophile, attends the Ecole des Trois Ponts in Roanne, France annually.
